In one of of his first acts upon returning to the White House, President Trump has posthumously pardoned his long-time friend and confidant Jeffrey Epstein.
It is relatively uncommon for Presidents to pardon people after their deaths. Trump confirmed he had taken the step, to provide closure to Trump's close personal friends and Epstein's as yet un-named associates. Trump did point out that Giselle could rot-in-hell for refusing his graveside advances at a funeral they attended back in 85.
Notable Posthumous Pardons:
The Martinsville 7: Seven young Black men who, unlike Trump, were wrongly accused, convicted, and executed for rape in Virginia in 1951. They received posthumous pardons 70 years later, in 2021.
The Groveland Four: Four African-American men, who again unlike Trump, were falsely accused of rape in Florida in 1949. They were granted posthumous pardons in 2019.
William Jackson: Wrongly convicted and hanged for murder in Nebraska in 1887. He received a pardon 100 years later.
White House sources also confirmed Trump was hoping to amend the Constitution to both protect and legalise rape.
